Get Ready To Get Cozy: Arm Knitting!

It's fall y'all! Ever since I got back from Germany last week, southern Arkansas has been cool-ish, grey, and rainy. I love spring and summer, but my favorite part about fall and winter is that you don't need any excuse to stay home and be cozy. If you are on Instagram and/or Pinterest, I'm sure you've seen one of those super cozy looking blankets:

Even if you are not super crafty, I promise you'll be able to arm knit one of those Instagram worthy, cuddly, super soft chunky blankets yourself.

There are tons of tutorials out there, from picking the right wool to step by step videos, like this one from my friend Stacy:

There is all kinds of yarn. You'll have to decide what you want and what's best for your project, Merino wool sure is on the expensive side, but even those on a tighter budget can still enjoy these soft giants with some extra time set aside to DIY them. There are even vegan yarn options!

YouTube will be a great source to find Step by Step tutorials, too. Heck – I re-learned how to crochet using YouTube, after forgetting how to do it for about 20 years. You can hate the internet, but man, it is so easy to pick up and learn a new hobby these days.

What are your favorite crafts? Have you ever tried arm knitting?
