Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 250 grams Butter, softened
  • 100 grams Confectioners Sugar
  • 120 grams flour
  • 250 grams Corn Starch
  • and some extra confectioners sugar to dust the cookies

Step by step:

  1. Cut the butter into little pieces. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until soft and foamy.
  2. Mix flour and starch, add to butter mix.
  3. Knead using your hands until you have a smooth dough.
  4. Separate into three similar sized amounts, roll into a roll, wrap in foil and let them chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350F.
  6. After the dough rested and chilled for a bit, cut it in pieces and form little balls and set on a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Smash each little ball with a fork to flatten it. Bake at 350F for about 12 minutes.
  8. After the cookies are cooled off, dust them with some confectioners sugar.

Done! Enjoy :)
