Support Your Local Dealer___PART I: Fräulein Prusselise

"Fräulein Prusselise" is fashion. Bright favorite pieces for everyday, lovingly handmade in their own studio shop in Trier.

Behind this innovative label stands a young, hip and creative designer duo from Trier. The fashion designers Julia Schwab and Kathrin Greve founded the fashion label "Fräulein Prusselise", after their successful fashion design studies in the summer of 2004 to express their love for individual and meaningful fashion.

The name of "Fräulein Prusselise" is based on childhood memories: In the first place, it is reminiscent of the character Aunt Prysselius from the story of Pippi Longstocking. Secondly, it comes from the Trier idiom "Prusseln", which means handicrafts, sewing, knitting…

"Fräulein Prusselise" - that‘s fresh, playful and unusual clothing - the "favorite rag for every day." Each piece of clothing, each accessory exudes pure joy. The quality of processed pieces are made with authentic materials from the 60s and 70s, and with its own fabric designs. In the studio shop in Trier, individual combinations of the current collection will be realized.

Even celebs are amongst Prusselise-lovers: Amongst others, since the early days of "Fräulein Prusselise" the always colorfully dressed TV presenter Enie van de Meiklokjes.

Memorable remains "Fräulein Prusselise’s“ patent: Mr. sleeve. This is an innovative, convertable garment that surprised and delighted many fashionistas so far, and now has a permanent place in every "Fräulein Prusselise" collection.
