Heirlooms

I just got home from my Easter-Trip to my family. I was going through my deceased mom´s jewelry for the first time in about 13 years now and picked out a few very nice things.
Besides the pieces you see on the photos i even found my mom´s grandmother´s wedding ring!!! And guess what? It FITS perfectly! Even though I have HUGE hands. So i guess you can tell i keep wearing it now. The engraving is still visible and it says 13.06.1911.

Besides the ring, the necklace with the watch is my favourite. I´ve been looking for something like that for months now. I never knew my mom had something like that.

    Love the necklace :)
    It's wonderful that you were able to pillage from your own family! Vintage pieces are usually more beautiful as they are memorabilia.
