The Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Lee denim collection
Check this out:
Vivienne Westwood, the British fashion designer who put punk rock into the mainstream, designed a new collection for the all-american denim brand Lee, called "The Vivienne Westwood Anglomani & Lee denim collection" which is gonna be in stores from July 2010.
The menswear collection was seen on the catwalk of Milan Fashion Week on the 17th of January followed by Hong Kong on the 20th where both menswear and womenswear pieces were presented. Seen for the first time on catwalk, the collection comprises of 4 styles of jeans for men and 5 styles for women, complemented by denim shirts and printed tee-shirts and it takes as its main inspiration the Vivienne Westwood archive with reference to her seminal punk and pirate collections of the 1970’s and 80’s but also to the dynamic cuts she has since developed throughout her career. These designs have been reinterpreted using Lee’s extensive knowhow in the field of jeans.
It´s gonna be 4 Jeansstyles for men, 5 for women and 1 unisex-Jeans:
MEN: Classic Jean, Low-Crotch Jean, Rock ’n’ Roll Jean, Bondage Jean, Banana Jean (unisex)
WOMEN: Classic Skinny Jean, Slim Jeans, Bent Jean, Pamela Jean, Hot Pant
