Ugh, today is one of these days... I cought a cold just around christmas and still suffering. 2 nights in a row the fever went up to 103F, sleeping impossible. Yesterday was back-to-work day for me...
I feel shitty and the part that is bothering me the most: I look shitty, too. Red nose, teary eyes, weird hair, pale skin... Isn´t it enough to be ill? Why does it always come with scarecrow-lookalike?
Plus: I was making great progress in my daily workout routine before christmas. Another "Murphy´s Law": As soon as everything works out great, a cold/slipped disc/...(tbc) kicks your butt and you feel as if you have to start aaaaaall over again... I wanna do more Zumba, go for a run! Do some more "Be A Knockout With Kendra" (best workout DVD ever by the way!).
But no, after laying in bed 80% of my days off during the holidays, I´m back at the office and dreaming about the stuff I could AND WILL DO as soon as I´m ok again.
I´m making good progress in eating healthier though! Ok, me and my sis went to Burger King´s New Year´s Day, but a cheat every once in a while is ok.
I found this awesome broccoli recipe yesterday and gave it a try for dinner right away. I left out the garlic though (when it comes to garlic my inner vampire seems to come out :o/)
