Vacation Recap Part III // The Clinton Library

Welcome to the 3rd part of my vacatio recap! Today I want to show you another big attraction in Little Rock:

"The William J. Clinton Presidential Library"

The architecture is breathtaking! It's really modern, but still blends in with the surrounding nature and landscape.
The Clinton Presidential Library and Museum is located within the Clinton Presidential Center and Park. The Center includes the Clinton Foundation (Little Rock office) and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

In addition to the archival collection and research facilities, the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum features exhibits, special events, and educational programs. The museum includes replicas of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room. Permanent exhibits utilize documents, photographs, videos and interactive stations. A timeline and alcoves highlight domestic and foreign policy, as well as life in the White House. The American Presidency is part of a unique heritage that is yours to explore through archives, museums, and special programs, Presidential Libraries preserve the documents and artifacts of our Presidents and provide insight into the times in which these Presidents lived and served the nation.

If you ever go to Little Rock, make sure to visit the  "The William J. Clinton Presidential Library"! We did the audio tour, which was $3 extra. But it's really worth it, because Bill Clinton himself (well, ok,  his voice..) leads you through the exhibition and tells you everything you want to know!

Some more visitor information from www.clintonlibrary.gov:

Visit the William J. Clinton Library and Museum on the banks of the Arkansas River in downtown Little Rock, AR. The Library sits on 29 acres of beautifuly maintained grounds with walking trails. The Library shares it's grounds with the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton School of Public Service.

The Library contains a replica of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room, a theatre, President Clinton's presidential limousine, and ever changing exhibits. We also have a restaurant, Forty Two, which overlooks the Arkansas River.

  1. Awesome! I love touristy stuff like this. I grew up down the street from the Richard Nixon Library, and groaned every time my mother would take us there for whatever exhibit or war reenactment was going on. Now, I'm just like my mother and drag my kids to this stuff all the time.
