Dear fellow pet-owners: Have you ever wondered if your pet has been leaving accidents around the house without you knowing?
Can you smell the pee-pee, but you have no idea where it comes from? Do you crawl around on your hands and knees sniffing the floor in the hopes to discover the spot?
High five! Welcome to my world!
Don't get me wrong, I really like our new apartment. But what I don't like is the carpet flooring all over the place. I don't like carpets. Especially since we have Coco cat. I keep vacuuming, but it never feels as clean as the wooden floors we had in Germany.
Plus: Our cat is a little bitch. Whenever something is wrong (in HER holy opinion), she pees somewhere. Somewhere excludes the litter box. Usually she just pees right next to it. Eay to detect! But every once in a while, the protesting-pee-spot will be hidden somewhere around the house. "Go find it, servant!".
You can literally see M and myself on our knees, sniffing all over the floor. Yep, hilarious. Not. But these days are over now!
I guess you can imagine how happy I was to receive this blacklight flashlight in the mail last week! Sniffing days are over - and your questions will be answered!
All you need to do is use the flashlight in a dark room and start your search...those illusive stains with light up on your carpet like Christmas lights on a tree...very big and stinky lights! It also comes in very handy to detect if certain people in your household are 'missing' the bowl, or if you/the cleaner is cutting corners when they wipe down the bench top and oven. Whatever you choose to use it for, you'll be soo glad that you did...after the initial shock of your discoveries are over.
I wonder if it works in the bathroom as a lesson for little boys?
ReplyDeleteHaha! I always feel like the litter box area still smells a little even after I change the litter. Maybe this would help me figure out just where that smell is coming from!
