New Hair Color, IKEA & an eBay Rant

What a lovely day it is! Well, it's freezing cold outside, but super sunny! This is the part I love about my new hometown: it is so much sunnier than good old Germany.
I woke up early today because I had a hair appointment at 9:30. I wanted to go a little darker, so I ended up kinda"bronde" with a hint of "ombre".  Geez that sounds blogger-ish. I love the way it turned out! I got about 1 inch cut off as well, so now I hope my hair will start growing a little faster again. It feels and looks much healthier already.

It looks a little darker than it actually is on this photo. It's more like a light brown.

I walked into a few IKEA boxes at the hair salon. It almost felt like home! I thought the IKEA closest to us would be in Houston, TX. But then one of the girls at the salon told me there is one in Frisco, TX!!!! 4 hrs away! Whoop Whoop! Since IKEA in Germany was literally in my backyard,I guess you can tell how happy this made me! And the best part is M's reaction when I told him about it: "Let's go there Friday!!" Yes, that is one of the reasons I've married this man :oD
It will be an awesome trip, since there is a mall and a Cheesecake Factory right next to IKEA as well. Heaven on earth.

Sooooooo... the first half of my day was pretty much super awesome! But then I got home to another e-mail from my lawyer in Germany, telling me my old landlord still wants €550 for utilities he messed up in 2012- I've already paid almost €900. This is going on for 2 years now....  guess now they are greedy and want some more money. I will fight though.... Or let my lawyer fight. I'm just so pissed about this whole story. It's starting to annoy me.

Then I've checked my mailbox and there was still no Kindle in there. FYI: I have bought a Kindle Keyboard (yep,welcome to 2011, bitch!) on eBay 2 WEEKS AGO. I'm a good person and eBay-er, so I've paid right away, using PayPal. The guy left some positive feedback right away, saying "Quick payment", marked it as shipped.... And it never arrived.  I've sent him a message, and he said he sent it to the wrong address forst so it came back, but he will send it off again. So I replied, alrighty, give me a tracking number this time.No tracking number until today. SO I wrote him again and now he said "You ll have it by later today. Again I apologize. This has been a rough week. My car broke down yesterday on the way to the post office."
Ummmmmmmm... I hope so for you, dude. If not, I will just open a case on eBay. I don't freaking care about your car!!!! You've had 2 weeks to send it off. I have paid $9 for shipping - so tracking is a MUST!
This is the part i really hate about eBay. Most of the timeit's great, but every once in a while you figure out you've made some business with a douchebag. Ugh. And I have an eBook patiently waiting to be read for a netgalley.com review! Man....
