Welcome to my Festival - Welcome to Faux-Chella!

Festival Season, peeps! You ready? My timelines on Instagram and Facebook were FLOODED with the most awesomest shots from Coachella. Back in Germany I went to a few festivals, like "Rock am Ring", and I always LOVED going to concerts. One day I'll make it to Coachella as well. Until then, I'll keep listening to all the live albums of my favorite artists, and make up my very own festival lineup!

So what a coincidence TickPick asked me to actually choose my dream festival lineup!

Well, unfortunately not to start a festival, but to be made into a poster. Currently I have the very same artists on heavy rotation, so picking my lineup was easier than you'd think it would!

Welcome to Faux-Chella!

Some bands might not ring a bell for you, I know!

Let me introduce you to my dream lineup though!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Period. What else is there to say? Macklemore is my brother. Maybe from another mother. My "The Heist" album is so worn out, it stopped playing a couple of days ago. And "This Unruly Mess I've Made" is on heavy rotation ever since release day. And the new "Brad Pitt" Video is the sh*t.

Moses Pelham.

If you are German, you know the deal. If you are not German, do your homework! His music and probably every artist on his label 3P are on the "Soundtrack of my life". Through everything I went in my life, there was always one of his songs helping me through it. Or celebrating through it.

Too $hort.

Ok. I really DON't have to write anything about him. Right? (NSFW)

Moneybrother.

Google "Anders Wendin", and don't tell me you are not falling in love right away! Anders Wendin is Moneybrother. Swedish. "The music of Moneybrother can be described as a soul-oriented blend, incorporating influences from rock, reggae and disco." is what Wikipedia says. And it sounds about right. I have to share 3 songs now. Because it's my blog, and I can.

Xavier Naidoo.

This is one of the artists on Moses Pelham's label. Wonderful voice. Wonderful lyrics... Most of his songs are german, but I've picked an english one for you guys.

Future.

He's big over here right now, and I like most of his tracks. So here we go.

Gwen Stefani.

I've been a HUGE fan ever since No Doubt days. I have every single album, and for sure bought the newest album "This is what the Truth feels like" right away. Here's my favorite.

Wunderkynd.

Is another German band. Vocals: my man Oli Banjo, formerly known as a German bada$$ rapper. Love him.

Lorde.

Honestly, I just started listening to "Pure Heroine" a couple of months ago. And this is my track.

So, this would be my lineup!

Yes, it's a funky little mix. Even I get dizzy looking at it. But trust me, I'd pay at least 200 bucks to go to my very own Faux-Chella. It would be very much worth it.

What would your dream lineup look like?
