Happy Friday, peeps! We've made it through another eventful week. Or in my case - eventful two weeks. I was unbelievably busy, and the past 14 days just seem like a blur. So on my list for this weekend is: Nothing. Nada. Nix.
I will work at the restaurant tonight (I started helping them out on Friday nights as long as it fits my busy schedule), and after that I will take a bath, put on my LSU PJ pants (#geauxtigers) and catch up on TV shows. My TiVo will be my best buddy this weekend, that's fo sho.
So todays writing prompts fits my upcoming weekend. #NaBloPoMo's topic of the day is:
Which fall shows should totally be canceled already?
I have 3 shows I'm currently watching: Arrow, 2 Broke Girls, and How To Get Away With Murder. Everything else - meh. I sure watch stuff like Big Bang Theory if nothing else is on. But none of the other fall shows caught my attention. Pure Genius - nope. Supergirl - nope. Notorious - nope. Divorce - whhhhhyyyy SJP? Whyyyyyyy? (yes, that's a SUPER NOPE).
I give shows a chance, but if you don't have me by episode 3, you can get cancelled. Please. I do want to give "This is us" a try though. The issue is, my hormones are super off, and I am an emotional wreck and crybaby. So I will wait until I'm an overall happier person again :oD
I never used to watch TV, but lately the networks have stepped up their game (or maybe the awful trend of reality TV is finally (almost) OVER... OMG, I hate "reality TV"!!)
ReplyDeleteI think the Thursday night line-up is my favorite. As for shows, Scorpion, Criminal Minds, HTGAWM, Gray's Anatomy, Chicago P.D./Fire/Med, Code Black... sometimes NCIS, MacGyver, Law & Order. Oh, and PBS... Poldark. I worried when they said they were doing a remake; the original is what got me hooked on PBS and Masterpiece Theatre when I was a teen! But they did okay.
:oD I have to admit I watch quite a few reality tv shows!!
DeleteReading your list reminded me I DO actually watch Criminal Minds, NCIS, and the Chicago shows as well. Not every week, but if there's nothing else on TV I sure do enjoy an episode or two!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment :)
Have a great weekend!
I watch most of my shows via Hulu or Netflix. I like being able to watch what I want when I want. I like my whole life to be like that, actually, but nope. Ha! How to Get Away With Murder is the only one you mention that I like to watch. Of course, nearly everything has to wait until football season is over. :)
