KARINFRAIDENRAIJ Lookbook FW17

DIVERSITY

All times nature has been forming human cultures – sun, wind, water and fire are painting the sky and drawing life.
In a melting pot of globalization individuality seems more and more miscel- laneous, on the other hand new options are coming up ... the skill simply is to recognize new enrichments without forgetting about the long standing.

Since years I am emphasizing the advantages of the classic Inka fibers in my urban fashion collections: camelide wool not only is of premium quality but furthermore represents an attractive material for variations in haptic perceptions, surface textures or kinds of fabrics.

In the actual line silhouettes are even more feminine whether oversized, rough textured, or finely woven and bodyhugging. Precious ponchos made from fulled felt or fine jacquard, oversized cardigans, romantic jersey dresses or thinly knitted classic shirts.

Subdued colors (black, grey, blue, vikunja, powder-hued) are combined with just a few accent colors (Valentino red, melange rosa). Instead stripes, glencheck, animal print and fringe are enriching the picture of inspirations from Latin America, Europe and East Asia. A playful handy-bag and other lovely knit-accessories are completing the actual collection’s impression.
Small but nice! For the second time also a small „Home“ capsule collection will be presented: sophistically knitted blankets, fine coverlets and cosy pillowcases again in subdued colors.
