Santa´s Baby

Guess who was a good girl??? ME THAT IS!

Tonight is "Nikolaus Abend" in germany, means: Santa Clause is coming to town and brings little gifts to all the children, who were nice during the past year,
Yea I know, it´s kind of confusing since Santa is coming on christmas!? Well not over here. In germany "Nikolaus" (Santa Clause) is coming on the night of December 5th. And on Christmas Night (December 24th) the CHRISTKIND is bringing us our christmas gifts.... I think it´s an angel-like girly thingy with blonde locks and stuff.... It should be little Jesus though. That´s what the name means. But.... I don´t know :D

See, even I am confused! I´m german but american by heart. I just celebrate everything that´s coming up during the next weeks and whoever wants to bring me gifts: go ahead!

OK, so tonight "Nikolaus" came. As every year for 29 years, I didn´t see him. Oh wait, that was a lie. I saw him 3 years in a row when he came to my childhood home when I was about 6-9 years old. BUT: the second time he came over all dressed up and stuff I figured out it was a local guy who ususally took care of the fire drenchers in all the homes during the year... I saw the rubber band holding his beard. Sad day.
So I´ve never seen the real Nikolaus.

Today after work I was invited to my sister´s place. We had dinner with my 3 year old nephew and were waiting for Nikolaus to arrive... Maaaaan, he took his time this year!! But while we were playing with Playmobil at my nephew´s room, the doorbell rang! Exciting!! The little boy was soooo scared and excited at the same time!
But when we arrived at the door, there were only the gifts and a few candles waiting for us. No Nikolaus.... Missed him again!!! My nephew looked kinda relieved though :oD guess he was really scared.

So....there were the gifts. And then I heard my sis say "Oh, this one is for Anni!" and I was like "What?!"
Ha! I got a wonderful gift PLUS tons of sweets!!!

I don´t know how Nikolaus knew I wanted this dress, since it was only me and my sis at H&M last saturday ;) - but this is what I got!! I love it and I think it looks extra good with my newlybrunette hair!

This is the pic from the H&M website - I will do my best to make a real outfit post soon though!

Besides the dress, I got this wonderful and supercute necklace!

I´m so happy and it was such a HUGE surprise :) (thanks, sis!!!! <3)

So now I´ll enjoy a bit more time at home, relaxing on the couch in my PJs and having a few pieces of this:

Good night everyone! And be nice :oD cause it pays off!

xoxo
