Little Treasures // 11 Months

About 1 year ago was the first day I walked into my new apartment in Bavaria.
The moment I was walking around for the first time, I knew what I wanted to have:

A secretary.

Back in Trier I started looking around eBay and flea markets, but didn´t find one that I
a) liked and
b) could afford.

Time went by, a few weeks later I was in Bavaria again to finally get  the keys for my new home. The janitor showed me the rest of the building, including my cellar compartment. He opened the door...........

...........and there it was! A wonderful secretary! In movies there would have been a spot pointed on it and maybe a choir of angels singing "Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
It was a bit dirty, but looked exactly like what I was looking for.

So I asked the janitor "Whose is that????" And he answered: "It´s in here since forever, so if you want it, you can keep it!" I was sooooooooo happy!

But: that thing weighs about a ton! I live on 4th floor!

Last weekend, after 11 months of waiting, me and M finally made it and carried it up the 81 steps (oh plus the 10+ steps from the basement to the first floor...).

And here it is :) my treasure!
