A Fruit Filled 4th of July
For a little background: Ryan, my
husband, and I are both endurance athletes, with me on a break as I
am 37 weeks pregnant! But either way we try to eat pretty healthy and
as little of processed stuff as possible. With that fruits and
veggies are a big part of our diet. But let’s face it the fruit and
veggie trays that I bring often get over looked at family functions
for the other wonderful goodies that may not be nearly as healthy.
Therefore, I sometimes try to make them a bit more intriguing. Today,
I am going to share with you one way you can have a fruit filled 4th
of July!
Lastly arrange sticks in a way that
looks pleasing to you.
I used a blue bucket from the Dollar
Tree. I used folded washcloths on their sides in the bottom of the
bucket to be able to put the sticks in between the layers of fabric.
Then, I added white tissue paper to cover the cloth. You could
however use a cylinder vase and use color stones.
Confession: I have attempted several
Pinterest food ideas with some of them not so great! This one
however, was pretty simple to do once I made it past slicing the
watermelon. So do not fret! I know you can do it too!
Thank you so much for allowing me to
share this idea on how to have a fruit filled 4th of July! Please
come on over to True
Agape and see what we are all about!

Anni,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for having me today! It was so much fun making this treat to share with your readers! Hope you have a great rest of the trip!
What a super cute idea! I like it - but agree that watermelon as a whole can be intimidating!! I think I could do it, though ... ;)
