Weekend Recap LinkUp // A Review & Why you should write yourself a Love Letter

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend? I've had some work to do and a CPR class Saturday, but got in some much needed sleep as well. Saturday afternoon/evening I spent on my couch reading a whole book.

My friend suggested it to me, cause his friend suggested it to him. None of them actually finished it up till now, so that should have made me think already :oD
But since the friend of the friend's father in law actually read it and said it's some good stuff... Hey. I bought it. Here's my "review".

Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck

"I was excited cause I give a fuck about way too many things and people, and I was hoping to learn this and that.
It came in today, and it took me about 5 hrs to read the whole thing.
I came to the conclusion that the 2 reviews below could have been written by me:

1: This is the bro-iest thing I've read in a while. Mark Manson seems to just be working out his own sh*t by writing this book, which is a hodgepodge of other more meaningful philosophies sprinkled in with phrases like "Jennifer Aniston's t*ts". There was obviously no thought that a woman might read this.

2: Might be a good book for discussing the immature attitudes of young American males.

Well, I gave it a try... Not quite sure how it made the New York Times bestseller list, but then again there are a few male American millennials out there. But the author never really goes deep into the fucks, and the book keeps contradicting itself.

The only thing I learned, and that was in one of the first 3 chapters: I'm the Disappointment Bear."

So yes. That's it. Any suggestions on what to read next?
