I have a feeling at least 98% of my readers did. And there is one gentleman, who is responsible for all the puppets and making all of our childhoods way more fun: Jim Henson!
I never knew Jim Henson was born in Mississippi. Did you? Bam, we already learned something. And there is a lot more to learn and see: The MAX in Meridian, MS is hosting the Jim Henson exhibition "Imagination Unlimited" now through May 2nd 2019, so if you are anywhere near or already in the Ark-La-Miss area, you should not miss this gem. Why? Several reasons. I mean, you can see the original Kermit the Frog puppet from 1978, besides more than 20 other original puppets, character sketches, storyboards, costumes and so much more. This exhibition will be a magical experience for adults AND kids!

The exhibition shows how Henson and his crew of puppeteers, writers and designers created a family of puppets and characters that continue to entertain both children and adults. Artifacts include more than 20 original puppets, character sketches, storyboards, scripts, photographs, film and television clips, behind-the-scenes footage, iconic costumes, and interactive experiences that allow visitors to try their hand at puppeteering on camera and designing a puppet character.
