New Job! Woooohoooo!

For a while now I was thinking about what I want to do with my life. While waiting for my working visa, during which time I was just not allowed to work, I have realized, that I am so much more creative and design loving, when I don't have to sit in an office 40+ hours a week.

Another thing I started to realize is, that I really want to work in the health and fitness industry. I plan on going back to college at one point to become a Registered Dietitian. So many people over here live such an unhealthy life(style). There is so much crap in the food over here, that is not even allowed in the EU anymore. It slowly poisons and fattens people to death. Sugar seems to be in everything! So called "fat free", "sugar free" or "Healthy" labeled products are just one big fat lie. Clean eating would be the best thing to do, but the most important thing is to educate people to make healthy choices when it comes to food. And that's what I want to do in the future.... But back to my new job now ;o)

We are living in a pretty small town now, and I thought I would just have to stick to my little job as a waitress, and doing my designs on the side.... until that one day, I was browsing Facebook. I saw a post of the BIG health and fitness center located here, saying they have some job openings. I was brave and sent out my resume....

...and now here we are, about 8 weeks later, and guess what? I GOT THE JOB!!! I officially started Tuesday. I've had my orientation, will have another one (a winter storm killed the internet over here, so I was only able to finish part 1 so far), and right now my new supervisor is putting together my schedule. I am so super excited!

I will start part time, which will still give me enough time for blogging and my little graphic design business, so it's just perfect!

Guys, I'm so happy!

RedRock competition: WWAW!

Dressfashion Prom Dresses Manchester

I SURE want to get my hands on some REDROCK goodies!!
That´s why I just joined their latest Blogger competition!

They are calling all bloggers? Ok, Anni heard your call, and here´s the answer!

WWAW? <- What Would Anni Wear?
Well - something like this:

I decided to pick the "Heart Football Cropped Tee" - because - HELLO?! I love football! Well, american football AND soccer. Football. How confusing is that? Football all the way, though. I rock my Chargers jersey while watching games. I am football. Period.

So how would I style it? I have exactly the same boyfriend shorts I picked for the mashup above. They are one of my favourite pieces during summer, cause of endless ways to build an outfit around them.

The "adidas Wings 2.0" by Jermeny Scott are on my "I would do almost anything to have them"-List for a looooong time now. I saw someone wearing them during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin a couple of weeks ago. Jealous.

I carry around tons of stuff, so I usually need big purses. This one by Stella McCartney rocks!

Which summer outfit is complete without a pair of aviators? NO OUTFIT! So there you go! The whipped cream on top of my outfit ;o)

Ok you guys over there at REDROCK, gimme that goodie bag now! :oD

10km by Anni_S featuring Adidas

Howdy :)
Today is a special day for me. I turn 28 this thursday. I feel old. So I´ve been working my butt off for quite a while now and tonight after work I´ll try to hit the 10km! Means: I´ll be running 10 kilometers for the first time after quite a while! I´m excited! But: I´m gonna make it! Ha!
In my head I keep singing THIS:

I´m ready. Yea, I´m ready! Ready to run!
