In the summer of the 2002, when Korea is abuzz with the Korea-Japan FIFA World Cup, a beautiful nineteen-year-old girl named Hae-on is murdered in what would become known as the ‘High School Beauty Murder’. There are two suspects: a rich boy Shin Jeongjun, whose car Hae-on was last seen in, and a working class delivery boy, Han Manu, who witnesses Hae-on in the passenger seat of Jeongjun’s car just a few hours before her death.

Baker of brownies and tormenter of characters, Alice Loweecey recently celebrated her thirtieth year outside the convent. She grew up watching Hammer horror films and Scooby-Doo mysteries, which explains a whole lot. When she’s not creating trouble for Giulia Falcone-Driscoll, she can be found growing her own vegetables (in summer) and cooking with them (the rest of the year).

It was a quick and easy read, overall a fun book. Especially the parts where "The Scoop" shows up are hilarious! It wasn't a predictable "who done it" - I was sooooo wrong throughout the book. The DI team is a lovable bunch of different characters. 
I did have some problems starting to like the main character though. Usually, during the first couple of pages I'm starting to picture the characters in my head, but Giulia is still just a blur for me.
The story was fun to read, but "Nun Too Soon" won't make it into my all time favorite list.

I thought I would miss Buckshaw, the rest of the de Luce family, Doggar, Mrs. M, Bishops Lacey. But I fell in love with all the new characters right away!
