"The Fault In Our Stars" movie came out:
"Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel's other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group." via imdb.com
It was about time for some "me time" anyway, so I took off all alone and watched the movie. You know that disappointment when you read a book, go watching the movie, and they mess up everything you were picturing in your head? Don't worry - if you and I think alike, and that's what great minds do, you won't be disappointed.
I read the book 2 times, so I had great expectations. My thoughts after watching it: It is a wonderful movie and it was exactly the way I wanted it to be. They did a great job picking the cast and putting the "mood" from the book into pictures. The Amsterdam sequences were lovely!

It was about 95% females watching the movie at the movie theater I went to. You could hear us all laugh, cry, and making comments throughout the movie. From what I've heard while walking out after the movie, everybody loved it!
Oh, and by the way: My celebrity crush Sam Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte in "True Blood", is playing Hazel's dad!!
