The Day We Found Michael Jackson in Texarkana // Weekend Recap LinkUp

Howdy! Did you enjoy the extra hour of sleep this weekend? I sure did! Now that it will be darker outside earlier, the cozy indoor season begins. We can do it! Just stack up on books, coffee, crafts stuff, DIY projects, sweatpants, fluffy & warm socks, ... you know the deal!

We went to Texarkana this weekend to check out the city. M has the option to start working there after he finishes the academy, so we wanted to see if we like the city.



It is a lovely city - and a great place to shop!!! I'd rather stay in El Dorado for another year though. We will see... On the way to Texarkana we drove past a Flea Market Mall. Marked the spot on the navi and stopped there on our way back. Man, it was worth it! We will have to go there again. Because we found Michael Jackson. And I forgot to take him home. So hubs will pick him up this week. Fingers crossed the King of pop didn't "left the building" until then...






We bought a few knick knacks like DVDs, and a telescope, but the biggest items are the 2 below. They need a little bit of love to look nice again, but that's something I really enjoy doing! We stopped at Home Depot on the way home already to buy some wood stain. Since I'm busy working on these 2 projects right now, you might even see the results Tuesday!

All my bags are packed... Not yet ready to go!

Howdy!

Blogging live from my chaotic home right now. Laundry is still in the washing machine, dishwasher is running, M is probably starving since I didn't make dinner today....

I'm pissed cause my boss called me after work letting me know one of the clients is pissed... Makes me mad cause there is no reason for him to be mad! Ugh!

Geez! Why all that? I'm off next week, leaving for my old hometown tomorrow morning.

My suitcase is not packed yet. At least I managed to bring it upstairs from the basement.

Sunday me and my youngest sis will sell some stuff at a flea market in trier, like all my trazillions of old Barbies and complete Barbie households and spare time activity equipment. The weather forecast said it will be sunny! So I hope Sunday night I'll be rich.

Gotta go, laundry is done! I'll try to get a real blog post done on the train tomorrow!
