When and why did you start blogging?

I started blogging in March 2012.  I have a passion for writing and inspiring, blogging allows me to continuously live this dream! 

What is your blog about?

The main objective of my blog is to inspire and be inspired. I love searching and finding inspiration in the simplest of things, in places unexpected and then writing stories about them provoking a chain reaction of inspiration, self-awareness, love, acceptance, spiritual awakening and empowerment! I also love sharing my personal stories, experiences, triumphs, challenges, tears and laughter in hope to touching and enriching someone's life for the better. 

Do your friends/family know about your blog?

Yes, my family and friends know about my blog and although at times they feel I blog to much, for the most part they are supportive.

Meaning behind your blog-URL:

Well, although I named my blog PonderWonders, the blog url is www.simplyymayra.com. I chose to use this name because I am who I am...simply ME!

Favourite quote:

I have many favorite quotes. But, my most ultimate fave is "There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling. It's why you were born and how you become most truly alive!

Favourite place:

My favorite place, most definitely, is the book store or the Library. I feel at home around books. Especially when it's the neighborhood bookstore. They tend to be small and offer a sense of intimacy as oppose to large-chain bookstores. Not that I don't enjoy the larger-chain bookstores as well, I enjoy anyplace that houses books. But to me, I feel that the little neighborhood bookstores have this old-fashioned charm about them that attracts my soul.

Favourite style of clothing:

My favorite style of clothing is psychedelic, eclectic, vintage, comfy and a great pair of high heels!

What’s your strangest talent?

Strange talent? Hmmm...I don't know if it's a talent or not, but I have an exquisite sensitivity to other peoples feelings. At times to the degree of feeling their pain or sadness. Sometimes I am emotionally drained from it. 

Anything else you want the world to know?

I Am Who I Am! Artist, writer, dreamer, ponderer, photo-taker, lover of books, butterflies, tea, laughter, self love & acceptance, a kindred spirit sharing an unbreakable bond with 3 precious treasures, honoring my soul by following my dreams and everything else in between! I Am Who I Am!
