What an awesome day // #AnniWays

Happy Humpday!

What an awesome day :o)! I finished a couple of layouts at work, finished a wonderful little private project
(I will reveal what THAT was in a couple of days) and took of for a bike tour right after work.

It was a beautiful summer day over here today! So I changed into my workout clothes at the office and took off for a 15 miles bike tour. I didn´t use the GPS app this time. I just took off, kept going and going and somehow made it back home :oD! Lucky me! And I was REALLY lucky! I´ll tell you more about that after showing you a few pics I took on my tour.... Isn´t God´s creation beautiful?

Ok... why I was lucky? I found 5 Euro on my little bike tour! Wooohoooo! And what did I do with these 5 Euro? After I got home and brought my bike into the basement, I went straight to the grocery store and bought..... C-A-N-D-Y :oD!!!!
And cherries! And pasta and pesto... But the candy was actually the fun part. And amazing how much I got for just 5 Euro?! Dear sir or madam, whoever lost these 5 Euro at the Main-Donau-Channel: I´m sorry. But happy. ;oP

I think the combination of 2 hours on a bike in the sun/heat plus the candy make me kind of crazy now... :oD It feels great though!

Now I will lay down on my couch and watch "The Timetraveler´s Wife"!

Anni, the explorer // 2 great Apps

I just got home from an awesome bike tour! I love my new bike more and more :)

Since I´m still not really used to this area (yep, even after almost 1.5 years) I was looking for some GPS Apps especially for bike tours. For the "fitness factor" to keep track of calories and stuff, I use "SportsTracker". It´s pretty cool, since it offers quiete a few different workouts, like running, cycling, walking...

As a GPS, I now use "komoot bike". I think it´s just available in Germany? But browse through your app store, maybe it´s available in your country as well!

I LOVE komoot! It works fantastic and so far every suggested round-trip was really good! People share their trips on there as well, so you can check out their routes, too.
I also feel much safer now, since I know my way home, no matter how lost I am, is just a few clicks away :oD "Route -> Current Position -> HOME"
