Monster Tour // What was I thinking?

73,40 km = 45,61 miles. That´s the distance I was riding my bike Friday! I wanted to visit my friend Aliya. So that´s what I did.

On my way there I got lost about 10 times though... Remember I told you about the GPS app I use for my bike tours? Miss Anni didn´t purchase any maps besides the ones Fuerth/Nuremberg yet. So on my way the app just told me to spend 3,99 Euro or it would refuse to lead me to Aliya´s house. Pfffffft! 3,99 Euro? Nope. :oD I made it there anyway! Ha! A little bit later than I thought though... Shhhht!

And the way back was easy. One good thing about Germany is the great cycle path network. Signs everywhere! So I made it home safe! And the ice cold shower afterwards was like heaven!

What I did purchase after this tour though? A HELMET! Yes, I love my head, I love my brain, I love my life. So after a couple of little slippy shocker moments on my monster bike tour, I finally ordered a helmet. It was waiting for me at the office today. Safety first!

  2. Wow, that is one long ride! I used to live in Heidelberg. I miss it. My father still lives there. I need to go ahead and visit him before he ever decides to move.
