Ugh... // More white
This up there is the view from my kitchen window this morning. And below is my bedroom window. Covered by about 5 inches of snow. The last pic is my current view from the office. White. Snow. Tons of snow. I am seriously sick of snow. I don´t want winter anymore! I want green , flowers, blue sky, SUN!
I want to wear my summer dresses. My flip flops! I miss my freckles!
Oh please... can summer please arrive soon? :o(

Anyone else sick of snow? Or is it just me hatin?

Back at work! // Monday Funday (?)
Today was back at work day for me after being off for one week. Yep, no holiday in Germany today... but:
Happy Columbus Day to my lovely readers in the USA!
Happy Thanksgiving to my lovely readers in good old Canada!
It was really tough to get out of bed this morning. But I guess you guys know that feeling? Last week I woke up around 9:30 AM every day, and today the alarm went off at 6:22 AM. Ugh. It hurt. After hitting the snooze button for about 5 times, I had to hurry with my daily morning routine and didn´t even finish my coffee... Oh how I hate rushing into the day!
At work my colleagues updated me about the past week. We´ve had some troubles with one of my favourite clients... And even though I´m not - I felt responsible for it. Then my boss arrived at the office around 9:40 AM and was in the worst mood ever. Welcome back at the office, Anni!
Around 4:30 PM we turned off our computers though, and went to the fest downtown. I had a good time, eating a huge pretzel, crêpe with Nutella and hazelnuts, playing the camel race game, shooting,... But you could somehow feel everybody was in a bad mood cause of the issues in the morning, plus boss taking out his bad mood on us during the day, so we were kinda happy to go home around 6:30 PM. I was freeeeeezing anyway! And tired. My body got used to a daily nap last week way too fast.
Back home I spent some quality time with M, played a little WoW and now I´m in bed, watching TV and trying to stay warm. Favourite part about fall: Cuddling up :)
Tomorrow I´ll go to a concert - one of my ex-colleague's band is playing in a club in Nuremberg and M and I are on the guest list. Looking forward to a good time and a good beer. Or two.
Good night!
xoxo

One man's trash is another man's treasure // Grafflmarkt finding
Twice a year, in spring and fall, there is a huge flea market in my hometown, called: Grafflmarkt. M, my sis, Luis and I went there last night.
It was really nice since it was sunny and kind of warm. We had a beer (well, the grown ups had one) and ate bratwurst, looked at everything people were selling and had a great time.
Then I saw it. A picture. Saw it and fell in love with it! So I bought it for 4,50 Euro. Great deal, cause when I was googleing (made up word right here I guess!) the picture, I found it online for more than 80 Euro (without a frame), and on an american site they sold exactly the same reproduction from the same studio in Munich for freakin' 4500 $!! That´s crazy! I want to keep it though. I will cherish it even more now though, cause I know it´s worth a lot more than 4,50 Euro.
It´s Peter Paul Rubens "Kopf eines Kindes (Clara-Serena Rubens)" 1616.
Did you find any treasures at flea markets/thrift stores so far? Please share them in the comments :)

These two pictures were flea market findings as well. I have them for a couple of years now, though.
I want to share them with you anyway:

Monster Tour // What was I thinking?
73,40 km = 45,61 miles. That´s the distance I was riding my bike Friday! I wanted to visit my friend Aliya. So that´s what I did.
On my way there I got lost about 10 times though... Remember I told you about the GPS app I use for my bike tours? Miss Anni didn´t purchase any maps besides the ones Fuerth/Nuremberg yet. So on my way the app just told me to spend 3,99 Euro or it would refuse to lead me to Aliya´s house. Pfffffft! 3,99 Euro? Nope. :oD I made it there anyway! Ha! A little bit later than I thought though... Shhhht!
And the way back was easy. One good thing about Germany is the great cycle path network. Signs everywhere! So I made it home safe! And the ice cold shower afterwards was like heaven!
What I did purchase after this tour though? A HELMET! Yes, I love my head, I love my brain, I love my life. So after a couple of little slippy shocker moments on my monster bike tour, I finally ordered a helmet. It was waiting for me at the office today. Safety first!

High noon in Bavaria
It´s almost high noon.
On my way to the mail office.
I saw HIM walking in front of me.
While walking behind this lonesome cowboy, THIS song popped up in my head.
And is stuck in there ever since then.
